Whether you are hosting a conference for important clients, a party to celebrate a special birthday or looking for the perfect reception venue to celebrate your wedding, Saxons Barn can provide the right location. With outstanding catering from our resident chef, a fully licensed bar and the latest audio and visual technology, we are confident in laying on an event that you’ll be proud to host.

Debbie and her team have a wealth of experience in planning and delivering fabulous events. From intimate dinner parties to extravagant weddings, we’ve done them all! We can look after all aspects of the hospitality from initial welcome for your guests to the silver-service wedding breakfast. Alternatively, you may just want to hire Saxons Barn without any additional hospitality for a yoga class or a boardroom meeting. It’s your event, it’s up to you.
We believe in providing as much flexibility as we can in planning your event. This may include catering from our in-house team or using an external provider, if you want something a bit different. We have a licensed bar for your guests and fabulous gardens from where we can serve welcome drinks on the lawn.
Alongside Saxons Barn is our fabulous 15th Century guest house. A beautiful setting to accommodate guests or clients attending your event. We can let this on a ‘bed & breakfast’ basis or as a self-catering arrangement. It can sleep up to 14 people across seven bedrooms.
As a self-catering cottage, it comes fully equipped with a large kitchen, dining room for 14, a large sitting room and games room for the younger members. You will have sole occupancy of The Old Farmhouse for the duration of the event.
